A Mouseketool Will Help - A Bathroom Story

A Mouseketool Will Help - A Bathroom Story

Gosh, three is an incredible age. There are moments I am brought to my knees in tears and prayers. Thirty minutes later, you can't wipe the smile off my face in pride. And then there are the moments I laugh so hard, I can't catch my breath! (although you moms know all to well the laugh that has to be muffled lest your child thinks what they are doing is entertaining enough to be repeated....)

WARNING - BATHROOM HUMOR AHEAD!

I had one of those moments the other day in the bathroom. The girls were sweetly playing in the playroom, so I snuck off like a stealthy ninja, another job I am convinced that us moms are uniquely qualified for. It was a blissful 30 seconds of alone time, when in walks my three year old, Aria. One of the greatest mysteries is a child's ability for their need to potty strike at the most inconvenient moments - I guess I'll add that to my list of questions for God to solve one day. I was having a little trouble making things happen quickly in the bathroom department. As Aria announced her urgent need to use the potty, I had to explain that mommy was having some trouble going to the bathroom.

In that sweet innocent voice she says, "Maybe a mouseketool will help you??"

Oh my stars, that girl is so kind to help, but dear oh dear if only a mousketool could help momma's bowels!! Haha

Another thing about three year olds is their curiosity is never-ending, next she proclaims, "mommy I see it?" Since I have an unrelenting desire to never disappoint her, something I am working through, I stand up and much to her hearts delight she says, "oh, I lub it!"

Ya'll, I just about died of laughter and sheer embarrassment. I share this for a few reasons, I’ve learned that a laugh is better shared with others and a mousketool might actually cure all!

Today may you be ever innocent, ever curious and ever full of joy!
